Dr. Allison Kanter Agliata

Dr. Allison Agliata, also known as Dr. A, is a distinguished licensed clinical psychologist and board-certified executive coach with a deep commitment to enhancing mental health and resilience. She holds an Advanced Educational Leadership certification from Harvard University, further complementing her extensive background in psychology and leadership. Dr. A began her career as a Captain in the Air Force, where she honed her skills as a military psychologist and leader, integrating her clinical expertise with educational leadership.
To merge her passion for clinical practice with her dedication to teaching, Dr. A founded Dr. Allison & Associates, a private practice dedicated to providing specialized behavioral health care for high-performance fields, including first responders and their families. Her practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including counseling, critical incident debriefings, peer support training, and executive coaching for agencies committed to the emotional well-being of their members.
Dr. A’s expertise has been secured by the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM), where she served as a Training Psychologist. In this role, she developed psychological training programs for Special Operations Forces (SOF) as part of the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) initiative, focusing on optimizing readiness, performance, and longevity through holistic human performance programs.
In addition to her clinical and consulting work, Dr. A is the author of Mastering Resiliency: First Responders Edition, a book designed to offer preventative, wellness tools, and strategies for coping in high-stress environments. Her contributions to the field extend to her role as a Founding Board Member of the Suncoast Alliance of First Responders, a nonprofit organization that operates Florida’s First Responder Hope Line and provides essential resources for first responders and their families.
As a consultant, coach, and speaker, Dr. A addresses leadership, personal mastery, resilience, trauma recovery, and corporate culture.
